What do I need to do to book my session?

Sessions can be scheduled by emailing Erin (you can click the contact button below).  To finalize your booking, the contract and deposit that are sent to you must be completed.

How does the deposit work? Does my deposit go towards my session fee?

 All deposits go towards your session fee.  

Packages require a larger deposit at time of booking.

What time of day is best for my session?

The absolute best time for outdoor sessions is at sunset.  The light is dreamy and magical!  All outdoor sessions will be scheduled to start approximately an hour before sunset.  

Newborn/Milestone sessions are typically scheduled for mid-morning in my home studio on weekdays. 

 

 

When should I book my newborn session?

It's never too early to book!  Sessions are booked by due date, but we all know how unpredictable babies can be, so if baby doesn't arrive when you think they will, it's no problem!  Once baby arrives, please contact me as soon as possible so we can get a day scheduled.

Are family or parent images included in the newborn session?

Full newborn sessions include parent and sibling images.  Erin does these at the start of the session so that siblings can leave and don't become antsy for the remainder of the session with baby.  Mini newborn sessions do not include images with parents/sibling/family.

 

When will I get to see my gallery?

I know you're so excited to see what we captured during your session, so sneak peeks are typically posted within a few days of your session.  

Your gallery will be emailed to you within two weeks of your session.

You'll receive instructions on how to instantly download your gallery.  If you'd like to order high quality prints, or other products, there will be the option to order those through your online gallery.  A print release is included with your download.  If you are not ordering prints through you gallery, I recommend using MPIX.com.  Their prints are more consistent and have better coloring than those from Walmart, Shutterfly, CVS, etc.

At this time, Erin Johnson Photography does not shoot weddings, offer senior sessions, or offer extended family sessions.
